Reverend Dan Wetzel and his wife Iris bring more than 50 years of ministry experience to Faith Community Church. In August, 2022, Dan started serving as transitional pastor for the congregation, as the church begins its search for a new permanent minister.
Pastor Wetzel previously served as the vice-president of Church Ministries with the Christian and Missionary Alliance, has ministered to Native American communities in Minnesota and the Dakotas and served as superintendent of the Southwestern District of the Alliance, as well as pastor to several Alliance congregations throughout his years of ministry.
Although the Wetzels will reside in Red Oak, they will continue to make their permanent home in Colorado Springs while assisting with Faith Community's leadership transition.
